Complimentary water bottle and energy bars will be provided.
Small groups limited to a maximum of 8 people. Four people at least.
Advanced athletic performance is not required, just familiarity with the saddle.
We can supply you with BIKE RENTAL SERVICE, Cinelli road racing or Bianchi hybrid bikes (into the shop Rossignoli Cycle).
A different day, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, always at a ‘contemplative and conversational’ pace.
Meeting time is 10 am. The starting point is the historical bicycle shop Rossignoli, located in downtown Milan, where it is also possible to rent a racing or touring bicycle for the day. If you don’t have your own, please come 15-20 minutes before departure time for the bike fitting.
From there your guide will lead you – through parks and cycle lanes – to the ‘towpath’ of Naviglio Grande, then on to small country roads that you will follow at a leisurely pace (around 20 km/h) among cultivated fields, farmhouses and irrigation channels. Stop for a break in the village of Abbiategrasso, then proceed to the ancient Morimondo Abbey, a former Cistercian monastery founded in 1134, where you can taste traditional cakes and homemade ice cream (at your own expenses).
You will then return to downtown Milan along a different route and be back at the same meeting point around 4 pm (itinerary may vary depending on the level of fitness of the participants - usually we ride between 50 and 75 km).
We also provide the BIKE RENTAL service with CINELLI road racing bikes and BIANCHI trekking/hybrid bikes
